We were supposed to meet at my friend"s workplace at two o"clock in the afternoon. Mark had told me to drive to the city centre, then find the main street and an old high pink tenement house. His office was on the second floor of the building, next to a second-hand bookshop. I was looking for the right entrance, but I was at a complete loss. There was no sign of it. I couldn"t find the bookshop and I had no idea where my friend"s office was. A moment later, I saw Mark at the door, waving his hand to me, trying to tell me something. I couldn"t hear him as there was too much noise again, so I went upstairs. They had been waiting for me, I had to hurry. My job interview would start in a minute.
